NABS is a support organisation for the advertising industry. This series of ads publicised the charity’s annual music quiz by posing some advertising related pop questions. In case your eyesight’s straining, the quiz questions and answers are:

A: Charlie Watts, who trained as a commercial artist and worked there when the agency was known as Charles Hobson & Grey.

Which M&C Saatchi employee designed this record cover?     

A: Peter Saville, M&C’s head of design, who created classic album covers for Joy Division and New Order.

Which commercials director played bass with Adam and the Ants on Jim’ll Fix It?

A: Danny Kleinman, recruted by Adam Ant in 1981 to play gigs that included Jim’ll Fix It and Top Of The Pops.
